Companies pay consultants reasonable fees to develop strategies and then sometimes execute in-house. How would you avert the risk of customers using your services for idea harvesting purposes and once the strategy is in place, they bounce and get in-house talent to execute?
I ask because you don’t expound extensively.
Arthur…our main focus is on the execution of these strategies since most of our prospects know they need a mix of original content ranging from blogs, online presentations, newsletters etc but they find themselves too tied up to create these as frequently as they would like to. Activity like social bookmarking, posting new content to the ‘several’ social networking accounts and spending time on them is a constraint for most which is where we can support them. The process of generating engaging content and promoting it to create more links and drive more search traffic while targeting specific keywords is shared across tonnes of blogs on social marketing and we find most people know they need to do this to attract the right prospects online. The constraint is time and effort. It is possible some may consult with us and then get it done in-house and it may make sense for some to do that although it may higher cost. It’s really their decision in terms of whether they should engage us or not but I know we can deliver great value and they can get everything delivered to them consistently just as they would with their in-house team.
